IST® Technical Course
Description
A considerable part of the population suffers from breathing problems during sleep, e. g. obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which can be the reason for different heart diseases. Thanks to interdisciplinary cooperation with dentists, ear, nose and throat specialists and sleep physicians many cases of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea can be treated successfully with the Intraoral Snoring Therapy Appliance (IST®). This course is offered for dentists and dental technicians.

- Fabrication of upper and lower jaw splint with a (BIOSTAR® / MINISTARS®) pressure moulding machine
- Incorporation of the fixing elements with the positioning support
- Adjustment and finishing
- Examination of the IST® Splint for fit and function

Details
Participation only possible after confirmed registration and payment.
The course fee comprises all materials for the fabrication of an IST® Appliance, course documents, participation certificate, lunch and refreshments.
